Privacy Policy

Last updated 16 October 2026

Streamline collects only the personal information you choose to send us, uses it to reply and to work with you, and never sells it.

This policy explains what we collect through streamline.international and in our client work, and your rights under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). Streamline is run by Darnell Naidu from Durban, South Africa.

Information we collect

The website has no sign-up, no tracking cookies and no advertising trackers. It stores one small setting in your browser so the opening animation plays only once per visit.

How we use it

PurposeLegal basis under POPIA
Replying to your enquiry and preparing a proposalSteps you asked us to take before a contract
Delivering and supporting a projectPerformance of our contract with you
Invoicing, accounting and tax recordsLegal obligation
Keeping the website secure and workingOur legitimate interest

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we only send marketing emails if you ask to receive them.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We share it only with service providers we need to run the business, and only what they need:

Some of these providers store data outside South Africa, mainly in the United States and Europe. We use providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to POPIA, as section 72 of POPIA requires for cross-border transfers.

How long we keep it and how we protect it

We protect information with two-factor authentication on our accounts, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to the person running Streamline. If we believe your personal information has been accessed without authorisation, we will tell you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.

Personal information in client systems

When we build or support a system for a client, we may handle personal information that belongs to the client's own customers or staff. In that work the client is the responsible party and Streamline acts as its operator under POPIA. We process that information only on the client's instructions, keep it confidential, and return or delete it when the work ends. Questions about that information should go to the client first.

Your rights

Under POPIA you can ask us to:

Email your request to the address below and we will reply within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa through inforegulator.org.za.
